  5. Xi-Text is a user-friendly spooling system. The package is written in C and
  6. runs under most versions of UNIX, including SCO and UNIX System V. Special
  7. features are: support for multiple printers, with automatic selection of
  8. printers; control of formtypes; priority, multiple copies etc; full-screen
  9. spool queue manipulation; security control and charging; automatic selection of
  10. pitches, fonts, etc; alignment pages; handling of single sheet stationery, and
  11. filters for special functions, such as DITROFF back-ends for laser printers.
  12. First installed in 1984, Xi-Text has undergone constant development and
  13. enhancement. Xi-Text is now available to run fully networked under TCP/IP.
  14. Windows/DOS option allows PCs on network to print jobs and access to full
  15. Xi-Text facilities.
